Hanna update!!

Hanna is doing so much better, but I think that she will end up being a one person dog. I am only fostering her, I miss the kitties running all over. Here is another picture of her. And she will be up on petfinder through forever friends animal rescue out of Syracuse NY

Baby fosters babies

This is my kitty Baby (she was feral when she came into our world) , she is 4 1/2 now, but has fostered first our 2 1/2 yr old Lily, her Mom abandoned her, then she fostered these babies that were found in an abandoned barn- with 20+ other kittens!!! These were her last fall fosters- she does everything that a Mom would do except feed them (I'm the bottle Mom) She has been fixed, never has had kittens, just was a natural!! (we are lucky!!)
Oh- Hanna is doing great!! She sits and lays down for treats!! What a change- though she is still not sure about some people, but she is starting to like my Folks. My Mom is my co-foster Mom- for kittens!!

Really Cute Dog I am fostering

This is Hanna, she is an Australian Shepherd mix, she came from an Ohio hoarder- because of her age (she is now 5 months- this happened last fall- so she was a puppy) She and another sister and a brother were able to be rehabilitated. She was sad when she got here, she had no social skills- no leash training- no potty training(she could use the paper) I was blessed with her on 1/27/2008.
Well, now she goes potty outside, is getting better on her leash, but doesn't trust anybody else much. I am working with her to not be so skittish around my folks. She didn't even know how to play!! Here is her picture, and I will keep you updated!!!

Neww Tube socks!!

These I made for my nephew- I looked at other patterns and was not happy- so I made up my own pattern. I think they are nice and only took 2 nights!! As you can see- I used ! ball of Lion Brand Wool-Ease Chunky!! Cheap enough to wear out!!

Winter again

I haven't posted in a year, but now I have high speed, so it's easier.
I have knitted a bunch of hats, and now I am working on the puzzle jacket. This is it in Dec '07,
I have the front and back sewn together now and am working on one sleeve. If anyone has any questions about it, let me know- I found a couple of errors (not really errors, but scratch your head about some of the directions) The remaining yarn is going to be in a purse that you make very similar to the jacket, then felt it. I'll put on a link to show you that pattern.
Happy Knitting!
