My socks are done!!

Well- I finally finished my Lion Brand Magic Stripes socks- I knit them in the sea blue stripe pattern. I used Stephanie Pearl-McFee's pattern from the "Knitting rules" book- great pattern- made my first pair easy. Thank you Yarn Harlot!!!! (I actually finished the first sock last Sept.- then finished the other sock yesterday- I did cast on the second one after I finished the first- did not want a lonely sock!) Christmas presents needed to be done. I knit my sister-in law (my knitting sister-in-crime) a pair of heavy socks out of King Cole magnum chunky yarn- wow- did they knit fast!!! Hope they keep her feet toasty this snowmobile season! These are the King COle socks shown here. I will take a pic of mine as soon as I get them off my feet!!!
